Artist Residency @ University of Portland
Recently I spent a week at the University of Portland as their artist in residence. It was an incredibly rewarding experience where I taught nine lower & upper division classes, participated in a podcast recording project, and gave a whole campus presentation on art, migration and the role of women in social justice. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my creative process, my journey as an artist, and my artwork with such a receptive student body and faculty. A big thank you to Dr. Lora Looney, Director of the Spanish Program, Department of International Languages & Cultures. To view photos of the artist residency click here or on the image below.
